Yesterday our little girl turned 6 months! It has been the best 6 months of our lives and we couldn't love this girl more. She brings so much happiness into our home and we feel so blessed to have her as a part of our family. Here are a few pictures of what Lyza has been up to lately....

This week my Mom drove down to spend a few days with us. We had a great time together! Here is a picture of Lyza and Grandma at Manito Park.

We have discovered that Lyza loves music. Last week we let her play the piano for the first time and she thought it was great! Here is a little video of her first performance.
Today is Father's Day. I am so grateful for all of the wonderful Fathers in my life. I am blessed to have such wonderful men in my life. My Dad has always been a wonderful example. He has taught me many valuable things and has always been there for me. Growing up I always knew what was important to him from the way that he lived his life. I am also grateful for my father in law who not only raised a great son but has always treated me as one of his own children.
This past 6 months I have enjoyed watching Daniel be a Dad to Lyza. She is a lucky little girl to have a Dad like him. I had a lot of fun this morning waking Daniel up with a little breakfast in bed in celebration of Father's Day.
