Happy Birthday Nixon!

These kids are proud of this dinosaur we made. Look how long that neck is!
Mason loves visit teaching when there is a dog to play with
The kids hard at work writing on their Valentine's
Look at those beautiful bags they decorated
 Good job Mason!
Kim organized an exchange again at church this year and they had a good turn out

I heard Nixon crying and screaming from his room one night and this is what I found
Someone loves her and made her pancakes for breakfast
Too big for his high chair?
Kim got to help with Lyza's class on Valentine's day

We had some chocolate strawberries and Mason LOVED them

Mason got into a stamp...
 Heavy load
These kids are proud of their snowman
Mason helping shovel the drive way
And checking out the snowman that the kids made the day before

Kim and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary!
 She is wonderful!
 Nice boots Mason
Last Saturday I decided to do some painting. I painted both Nixon's and Lyza's room. What a long day!
Kim thinks I buy roses for her. I actually buy them for myself because I think they are so pretty

Driver's training in progress
Kim woke up to find Nixon next to the fireplace. He was cold
Batman walked his sister to the bus
It's not very often that Kim is able to honestly tell me that the kids are acting like angels
 She likes this activity
This boy was so excited to get some mail
We let the kids open a present each this week
We are really excited
Well, maybe I shouldn't be speaking for Mason
Kim put Nixon to work making his own birthday cake this year
They had to watch it bake
Look at that chocolate milk mustache
Nixon woke up on the 23rd and he was 4 years old! He thought that was so crazy
He asked for chocolate chip pancakes and that is what he got
He got to open up a ninja costume before I left for work. He has been wearing it non-stop now for days
The kids got to play at the gymnastics place

Nixon had lots of help opening presents

Mason got a hold of the remote and had lots of fun pretending he could control the tv
This book and puzzle combo is lots of fun
This is the birthday cake (he doesn't really like cake but loves strawberries)

 Happy Birthday Nixon!
Yesterday Kim took the kids to the bounce house while I was judging a mock trial competition all day

Here comes Nixon

This is what I found when I checked on Lyza before bed last night. So cute!
Mason at Stake Conference this morning
That's all for now. Take care

Excited for Spring!

We should probably start this post off with a funny joke
This is Lyza's favorite shirt right now
 Silly kid
This was a fun FHE game courtesy of the Friend magazine. No, I am not messing around on my phone. I am looking up the scriptures for the game.
Colored water in squirt bottles are lots of fun when there is snow. Even if it is almost gone...
 Lost ANOTHER tooth!
 Mama snuggles, lucky boy
Doesn't he have a baby face?
 Mason excited to be outside
The kids now fold their own laundry. Great system!
Lyza is so loving and thoughtful. She made this and left it by Kim's pillow one night when Kim was away at a meeting.
How could you not smile while wearing a dinosaur dress?
Mason has been loving these buttons. They got me through teaching high priests group last week

Mason (and all of our kids) loves PJ Masks. Watching him with this book is the best
Nixon was too tired on his walk so he decided to make his own seat on the stroller where there isn't one
 Nixon loves doing preschool activities
Isn't this how all of the great pianists sit?
The kids enjoyed helping their mom decorate for valentine's day (see how most of the snow is gone?)
Tablet time is even more fun in a fort
 Lookin' good Mason!
 He loved this broccoli soup
 Me and my goofy kids
We found out that Mason is much happier eating a waffle if nothing is on it and he is not in his high chair
Last Saturday I made a headboard for Lyza's bed
She was out on a date with her mom while I was making something for her. Smart girl.
I guess they checked out some fish
The boys also spent some time outside
It was so nice I could paint without a jacket
I got the headboard all finished
Nixon made us some delicious bbq chicken pizza
We had some brownies for dessert
Nixon really likes these building toys

For FHE this week we did some Just Dance

 I turned 33 this week!
I had a yummy breakfast to start the day
 Some presents after dinner

They sang to me and helped me blow out the candles ;)
Mason was SO excited for a cup cake
Then this is how he ate it
 Our tulips have sprouted!
The kids have been loving playing outside again
Still too cold to swim, but still fun to play at the beach
Especially throwing rocks in the water
Nixon was proud to push this cart around shopping with Kim. He even put all of the food in the cart and then pulled it all out at the register.
He has been loving playing in this water when they pick Lyza up from the bus
 Night time snuggling with Mason
 Yummy icing!
He has figured out how to use the chairs (on their side to stop him from using them to climb on to everything) to climb up on to the table
Nixon has his arms folded and ready for prayer
Lyza thought this was an appropriate outfit for cleaning the church yesterday. Her mom did not agree.
Nixon cooked up some scrambled eggs for himself and Lyza for lunch yesterday
Kim did some more decorating in Lyza's room
While Nixon and I put down some winter fertilizer that never got put down last fall
I made this simple shelf for Mason's room
This was Lyza's reaction when she saw her new bed (new bedding, except for body pillow)
It looks pretty!
She looked really cute reading a book before bed
That's all for now. Take care
