Happy Anniversary!

Six years ago I married my best friend and started a journey that has provided me with experiences and emotions that I will treasure forever.

These last six years have been amazing. There have been seven moves, four wards, three cars, two pregnancies, too many diapers to count, and two thousand one hundred and ninety days where you were the most important person in my life. 

Six down, eternity to go...

Valentines Day with the Keyes

Lyza had a fun tea party this week with some of her best friends

She has enjoyed this Dora memory game that she got for my birthday (one of my classmates bought it for her)

 Mommy let her "play in the snow" with some food coloring 

 She got this Disney Bedtime book for Christmas and LOVES to read it

 Lyza had a Valentine's themed play group this week

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Well, I have gotten older since my last post.

Kim made this felt board back in the day when she taught sunbeams

Kim and Lyza came to school and visited me on my birthday. They also brought some yummy treats to help get me through the day

 After class some of my friends took me out for lunch

 Lyza and Kim had some decorations up at the house for when I got home

 Birthday snuggles are the best!

 She even makes sure my gifts are not defective

 Kim made me my favorite meal for dinner - Lasagna!

Then we had some friends over for cake. Kim made a pumpkin cheesecake and it was amazing!

Thanks for the birthday cards, wishes, gifts, etc. It was a great day.

Cold, Cold, Go Away...

We have been getting ready for the arrival of baby #2 and Lyza has been enjoying her little brother's baby toys

 She loves this little owl purse that she got for Christmas

 Kim's week was very busy and productive. She made lots of different freezer meals. Here is Lyza helping make tater-tot casserole

 We got some snow this week that has actually been sticking around, so Lyza and I went outside yesterday and played in the snow. She remembered her cousins making snow angels when we played at their house over Christmas break and she was really excited to make her own snow angels.

Then we had to walk all over the neighborhood

 Waiving to mama (I have a letter in my pocket that was erroneously delivered to our address that we were taking to our neighbor)

 While shopping last night Lyza found a princess backpack and wore it all around the store. It was almost the end of the world when we had to leave the store without the backpack
