The kids got very excited when they found out their cousins were going to come to Idaho and visit. Mason waited outside for a while so he could greet them.
The cousins didn't take much time to warm up to each other

Nixon and Jason were joined at the hip. Nixon nicknamed Jason "Big Boy Jonathan" and Jason nicknamed Nixon "Little Boy Jimmy"
The kids all had lots of fun at the park
We then had some ice-cream treats
We also played some basketball
The kids also enjoyed playing on the trampoline
I took the drone up that night (July 3rd) to see how it would perform at night for fireworks. You can see one on the right side of the frame
We met up again the next day and decided to have some patriotic story time

After that we attended our friends' annual 4th of July Party

Henry was always out in the cul-de-sac with the kids lighting off explosives

As we got closer to the big show the fireworks from the street got more impressive
Then the big ones came out

The next day the kids got to play at a park in CDA
Apparently Lyza thought it was a library
They also got to ride the carousel
The kids were so well behaved that day they seemed like angels
Kim and the big kids did some private swimming lessons at a friend's pool
That afternoon the Wolseys came back and everyone jumped in the truck and left for the beach
They had lots of fun playing together
We had a blast with the Wolseys and the kids played so well together
Kim isn't used to being towered over by kids
It was nice spending some time with my sister. Come back anytime!
After that there was another swimming lesson, complete with petting zoo
Before we went up to Canada as a family we had to take a bunch of library books back and Henry was happy to help out
Next up: Canada Trip 2022 (or at least a portion of it)
