Finishing Up Soccer

 The boys had a good time playing with blocks last week

Mason booby-trapped his room and it was really hard to get in

The next morning he must have woken up early then come out to the toy room and fell asleep on the new giant cushion

Kim voted for the first time and went with one of her friends

I also voted

Henry has been sick and Nixon has been good to snuggle with him (while the two of them watch shows)

I guess the medicine kicked in because he got to building

Mason helped Kim do some planting

The blossoms on this tree outside Lyza's window are really pretty

Friday night I took Lyza, Nixon, and Mason to a baseball game in Spokane for an office event

We invited out backyard neighbors as well

The night ended with some pretty impressive fireworks

Saturday morning Kim got up early and went for a bike ride with friends

It was kind of misty and dramatic out by the lake

Nixon and Mason had their last soccer games of the season. They both did very well and I am happy we get a break from practices and games for a while ;)

Mother's Day

 We have the hammocks out and Nixon thinks it is a good idea to hang upside down in the hammock

Kim has lots of help making cookies

Nixon made it into the paper for scoring two goals in one game a couple of weeks ago

This artificial hanging plant is a nice addition to our back patio

The kids had an epic time at the beach with their friends

Nixon's soccer game last week was really wet

He played really well and his team won

Luckily the rain stopped for Mason's game

Henry got to use his frozen yogurt gift card

Last week Kim went out for pizza with friends

The pizza we made at home wasn't too bad

Mother's Day was nice

Kim got lots of love

They got a little carried away with pictures

The kids all has such sweet gifts for Kim that they made at school and primary

The thoughtful gifts were lots of fun

Kim got some salmon for dinner

But all she could think about was dessert

She even got to do a puzzle from start to finish in one day!

Our tulips are doing well

We bought a ginormous pillow/cushion for the kids to play on

This is the color of humming bird we normally see

This week we have seen this color more (I think it is a male)

For school on Friday there were a bunch of bounce houses and Mason had lots of fun with them
