Happy BirthdayS and a Double Funeral

First I want to start with a little throwback to some pictures that Kim took of the Kids for Father's Day 2020

I had the difficult realization this week that our days of kids playing in the bath are numbered

Lego has been keeping the kids busy and sometimes working together

We have no idea why but when Henry gets mad at Mason he yells "meanie pumpkin eater." It is so funny because it is so silly. We have been trying to get it on camera but it is really hard because it is unpredictable and doesn't happen too often. Here he is saying it but without all of the anger.

Kim had a birthday this week. She chose to get up early and go for a run in Liberty Lake, WA with her friend Bessie

She also had a pedicure that afternoon

Kim has wonderful friends that spoil her on her birthday

We got Cafe Rio for dinner and ate it at a park

How does he do that?

Then we brought Kim home and fed her cheese cake

And Mason showered her with thoughtful presents

We love you Kim! Happy Birthday!

Kim's birthday celebration continued the next day at Silverwood with her friends

They even convinced her to ride the new rollercoaster

Our ward rented the local carousel for an activity and Kim took the kids to it

We decided to celebrate Henry's birthday three days early since Kim would be gone on his birthday. Mason was more than happy to make Henry some presents

Henry was happy to open some presents

This lawnmower that blows bubbles was his favorite

He really wanted a chocolate cake and this one had lots of yellow icing, his favorite color

He is one handsome three year old

He didn't even really like the cake but he was still excited

Kim left Friday morning for Canada for her grandparents' funeral. Friday evening Nixon helped me cut strawberries for breakfast the next morning.

Saturday Henry turned 3. It is hard to believe he is 3 already

Here is Henry waking up and coming out of his room

We made him a waffle breakfast with strawberries and whipped cream

It made him very strong

Then we went to the bouncy house

Lyza had lots of fun running around

So did Nixon

Henry had a blast

Here is a video of the fun

Friday evening and Saturday Kim was doing funeral stuff. She got to see some cousins she hasn't seen in a while

Here is what Kim said in a social media post about her grandparents:

I have only known Kim's Grandma and Grandpa Bullock for about 14 years. However, it didn't take nearly that long to see what wonderful people they are and the great example they were to those around them. Kim is lucky to have lived so close to them. They truly will be missed.

Last night Lyza went to a girls night party and ended out pulling out her wiggly tooth

After that I convinced her and Nixon that cupcake needed to be held and they were happy to help

This morning our three year old got right to work building trains

And here is handsome Masosn

It has been a wild week. Take care
