Harvest Party and Trunk or Treat

Waiting with anticipation

It is really hard to wake Mason up from a nap. Here we are trying to wake him up with a treat
The fall colors are so beautiful
Throwing rocks in the river never gets old

 Neither do these spinning things
Nixon's Halloween craft he made with mom
Nixon and Mason playing puzzles together
 Lyza getting a wild ride
This is what happens when the markers get left out
Kim took the two little boys out one morning for a photo shoot and got some cute pictures

This tree down at the river was sooo pretty

 So cute!
I came home from work one day and this is how I found Henry (so cute)
Nixon playing with my phone

 Best buddies
They thought they were so funny putting this slipper on Nixon's head
One of our neighbors went into labor on Friday night so we watched two of their kids. We had a Lion King movie night planned so they joined in.
When the third and oldest child joined us for bed time he brought a new drone that his grandma bought him. Our kids were fascinated with it. It eventually got stuck in Lyza's hair.
The next morning we had a family over for breakfast that is moving out of our ward. That mom brought her four boys over and with the other two boys that we were watching Lyza was completely outnumbered
Nixon enjoyed playing with his friend
We had a trunk or treat last night so the kids got to dress up in their costumes
 Nixon is a piranha

 Mason was Spider-Man (of course)

 And Lyza was an alicorn

 Henry was a chameleon
Kim and I recycled out Johnny Lingo and Mahana costumes

Take care

The annual pine needle rake and other great and exciting things

Lyza and Kim would make a great crime fighting team
After watching Toy Story 4 the boys each wanted their own Forky
We got out and took some family pictures last Sunday. Here are a few of my favorites

Halloween preview: how cute is this little chameleon?
His world was upside down when he couldn't get this boot over his shoe
They say that two things are guaranteed: death and taxes. In our neighborhood there is a third: pine needles in the fall
Lyza and Kim got to go on a date to Triple Play and do some swimming and water slides together
They had the whole place to themselves!
And they got dessert after. No fair!
Henry got to play in a newly cleaned sand box this week and he had a blast
He also helped with some gardening, which included eating lots of dirt

Photo credit on this one goes to Nixon.
Can you say happy? Lyza after a trip to the library.
This building is going so well...
A few more up top...
Oh man!
We went to the Pondersosa annual Halloween carnival together and the kids got to do lots of fun activities
Including a toilet paper toss

Eating the donuts off a string was lots of fun
Mason figured it out pretty quick

He has such a sweet face ;)
Nixon had his last soccer game of the season. He did really well and of course scored a goal. This was a much more interesting possession though
Nixon and I went on a lunch date afterwards to celebrate
After seeing how much fun her little brothers have with this car, Lyza decided she would give it another chance. Perfect fit!
Take care and enjoy those autumn leaves while you still have them!
