Kim and Lyza took a trip to Pullman where there is a WSU facility that has bears. We are not sure why there are bears, but they were sure fun to look at.
Kim and Lyza also went to a science center in Pullman with another family from our ward. Here is a picture of that family's kids looking at a live snake. Lyza was more excited about a picture of a snake than the real snake.
Last weekend was Moscow's Homecoming Parade. This was my first time attending a small town parade. It was a lot of fun.
There were lots of bands playing and Lyza loved the music. Here is a clip from a Toy Story inspired band. The Slinky dog at the end is my favorite.
Most of the floats threw/handed out candy. The kids loved it. Lyza enjoyed picking the candy up from the street, even though she doesn't know what candy is
Canada
Here is what Lyza came home with. Its like a practice run for Halloween
I am not sure what was going on here. If you would like to guess feel free to leave a caption as a comment. We'll pick the funniest comment and mention it in the next post
Yesterday we went out to the WSU orchard where there is u-pick pumpkins and a u-pick apple orchard. Lyza LOVES pumpkins. Kim has had a hard time grocery shopping recently because Lyza can't get past the pumpkins displayed outside
This is the area where people can pick their own pumpkins. Lyza loved walking around and trying to lift them all up
Here is an old tractor that Lyza got to "drive"
There was an area with loose hay where the children got to show just what kind of wild animals they are
There was also a hay ride (a tractor pulling a trailer with hay seating) around the farm that was a lot of fun
This is one of Lyza's friends. They both have similar outfits
After the fun with pumpkins and hay we picked some apples
Here is a video of Lyza singing herself a lullaby
THat's all for now. Take care
Super cute pictures!
ReplyDeleteMaybe Lyza & her bear were going on a road trip together? :)
