Lyza's new balance bike arrived last Sunday. It is even her favorite color
Grandma Bullock also arrived on Sunday!
The next morning we had patriotic fourth of July waffles...whipped cream, strawberries, and blueberries
Books are always better when Grandma reads them
After playing in the sandbox for hours these three needed to cool off with some popsicles
Mason's first walk in the new baby carrier
Look at those little foot prints
It is kind of magical watching him play near the water
He sure likes his little brother, and doesn't he look so macho in a sleeveless shirt?
Mason is such a sweet little baby. He has been an amazing sleeper too! Kim has to wake him up during the night to eat, otherwise he would sleep all through the night. He is also pretty fun in the few minutes that he is actually awake during the day
We have bought each of our kids their own stuffed animal and this is Mason's, a cute fox
Here he is dreaming of the day that these cool shoes from Kevin and Amanda will fit him
Lyza is helping Nixon water the flowers
Awww
We sure love this little guy
He has his own fan club
Kim and Grandma took the kids to the library activity at the park this week
We went for a family "hike" at falls park
The damn isn't letting much water through
This is what the same falls looked like in April of this year
Lyza loved climbing all over the big rocks and being the leader where ever we went.
Mother, daughter, and grandson (hiding of course)
Grandma had to show them how it is done
After our hike we went out for some ice cream
This weekend is the Post Falls Festival. On Friday night we went to the festival to see the different displays and shops
We all shared some elephant ears and Lyza thought it was HILARIOUS that we were eating elephant ears
We also had lots of fun playing at the park after
Grandma with her favorite grandchildren ;-)
We had sooo much fun with grandma here and can't thank her enough for all of her help this last week. She made it so much easier for Kim and the kids and we are so thankful that she came to visit us. It was hard seeing her leave
On Saturday morning after Grandma left and we finished drying all of our tears we went to the Post Falls parade
Nixon knew what to do
We were worried Lyza's arm was going to fall off because she was waving so much (she knows that the more she waves the greater the chance is that she will get candy)
It is really funny watching the kids go crazy each time candy is thrown
This tractor is my favorite part of the parade
Isn't she gorgeous?
After the parade we went to the fire station and saw them use the ladder truck. It was pretty cool
Nixon liked the ambulance and stretcher
That ladder reaches over 100 feet
I am still shocked at how much Lyza and Nixon love their new brother
It was pretty fun taking this guy to church this morning (Lyza went too of course)
Here is a funny video of Lyza and Nixon fighting
Take care
Looks like you had a fun visit with Kim's mom! I enjoyed the pictures. Thanks for updating!
