Christmas day ending wasn't the end of fun around here.
Nixon had fun using his silly string (even though it was a bit of a dud can)
More magna-tiles means even bigger building projects and smiles
There were some games played
Mason had fun playing with these giant water beads
Some Just Dance
Look at those moves
Henry looks a little embarrassed
Lyza and Nixon got to go ice skating for the first time
This is one of their beautiful instructors
Henry got some one-on-one time with Grandma
Kim getting the rust off of her skates
The ice rink was really pretty because it had a big Christmas tree in the middle and lots of lights and trees all around the perimeter
Each of the kids had one of these seals they could hold on to
While we were getting the second seal for Lyza she was chatting with an older boy
Grandma got some good cuddles with Henry
Here is Lyza skating with her seal
Hi Nixon
Grandpa helping Lyza
Look at the smile! Lyza's motto for the afternoon was "It doesn't matter how many times I fall. All that matters is that I am having fun."
Nixon learning how to move himself
Lyza had such a great attitude and did so well
Here she is trying to push Nixon (he was a little heavy for her)
She was even brave enough to skate without holding on to anything. Look at her proud mom.
Meanwhile, Mason was watching some Netflix
Nixon needed a break
Nixon and his grandma
Lyza caught on really quick
I think Grandpa was tired
Lyza and Nixon's first skating experience was awesome (especially for Lyza)
The kids got to try out their new card holders playing Uno
Henry got some bonding time with his grandpa
She has the mother's touch
Grandma got to "watch" a movie with the kids
She also got some good Henry time
Grandpa got some cuddles in with Nixon
These two look so good together
Watching another movie together
Babies can be so expressive and change their moves so quickly
I took the camera out the next morning to get a few shots of the fresh snowfall
Nixon was my handsome helper
What a welcoming front door
Mason having some more fun with his magna-tiles
Showing off Elmo
We love Henry
I think Lyza is pretending to be an airplane?
Mason's trademark dancing
So cute
Adorable!
The kids had some fun playing out in the snow
I like his new look
Mason fell in LOVE with his new train
I love hearing his say choo-choo
You have to crawl over your train set carefully
Such a happy boy
Nixon LOVES holding Henry!
It didn't take the kids very long to redeem their coupons for extra screen time
The night Grandma and Grandpa left we had dinner with friends and tried out their new karaoke mic
Henry loves grabbing his feet
And we love taking pictures of him ;)
Mason take breakfast very seriously
These two are kind of goofs
Look at all of those tiles
Lyza and Nixon both loves skating so much that they used their date coupons to take Kim and I on an ice skating date
Nixon got more confident skating with his seal
Lyza got comfortable skating all on her own!
Lyza is so sweet. She always draws pictures and makes cards for everyone. Here is one she made for Nixon: "Hope your day of full of tigers and puppies"
Mason loves to snuggle Henry but he needs supervision still
Lyza's best friend from kindergarten (who now goes to another school) came over and played after Christmas
Nixon also had a friend over and after they played outside they got hot chocolate (or "hot chocolate chip" as Mason calls it)
Silly faces
Happy Henry
Mason looks so cute here
I wanted to get some pictures of Henry in front of the Christmas tree
Lyza joined in
Then all of the kids got involved
She still loves holding him
We transitioned Mason into Nixon's room on the bottom bunk. The first night went pretty good
Henry turned 4 months old
Showing off his tongue
Why is the sloth wearing the tie?
Lyza couldn't say no to the camera
And silly Nixon
"Don't drop him"
TOO Cute!
There is that tongue
This is my Christmas break project in Nixon and Mason's closet. The bottom two sections have drawers for socks and underwear and the baskets have PJs
Henry also started sleeping by himself in his own room. He has been AMAZING!
When Mama makes smoothies for breakfast Mason doesn't hold back
This book "The Book With No Pictures" is so funny
Watch out below...
Kim and I did a little Christmas photo shoot with Henry
Mason is so photogenic
Kim playing games with the kids
We had a fun little New Years party together that also got us our final footage for our annual video
This Christmas crackers were fun
We are happy with how the video turned out
First bowl of cereal of 2019!
Nixon can be such a good helper with his brother
Kim realized we never got a shot of the new camera (it has been pretty busy ;) so she got one of me and the camera
Sword fighting with empty wrapping paper tubes kept the kids busy for a while and we could take down some Christmas decorations
Look at that adorable face!
He is certainly kissable
I took the two big kids out to the Post Falls dam to get some fresh air and use the camera in some daylight and out of the house
I like this shot of one of the bridges down stream of the dam
These guys had a blast climbing all over the place
There isn't much water going through the dam this time of year
My hiking/exploring buddies
They were in heaven climbing
And juuuuummmmpppping
I got some shots of some ducks
Serious picture (remember, this is keeping them from climbing)
And silly faces
When we got home and Kim asked them to do some tidying up they pulled out their coupons that make a parent do a chore of their choice. They were so proud of themselves!
Henry doesn't like being on his tummy yet. This is the happiest picture we could get.
Here is a cute picture of Mason playing the piano and singing Jingle Bells
That's all for now. Take care
Henry is sure cute, as are your other kids. Happy New Year!
