Moose, Ducks, and New Spectacles

Last blog post we left off with seeing the moose on our way home from church. After lunch we decided to go to Falls Park to get out side and let the kids do some exploring.

We of course looked at the ducks there

It was a pretty and chilly fall day

This bridge is a cool sight. It is only used for the Avista employees to go between different sights of the hydroelectric dam

Henry had no problems throwing rocks right into a group of ducks. Luckily for them he doesn't have very good aim

I think it is cool to see the water bead up on the ducks' feathers

The lighting off the water was really cool

The big kids enjoyed the exploring the most

And who doesn't like going down the slide with their mom?

When we got home the moose was resting on our neighbors' lawn two doors over from us

We had to keep Henry from getting too close to the moose

I love the idea of mixing kinetic sand with a monster truck

Lyza's new glasses arrived this week and her reaction was great

Both pairs look good on her

Mason is always so proud of his creations

Look at those squishy cheeks

Have a great week!

  2. Love how happy Lyza looked in her new glasses. Lyza, you look very pretty in your new glasses! 💗

(Sorry about deleting my previous comment. It autocorrected Lyza’s name and I didn’t catch it until after I posted it. 🤦‍♀️)

    1. Haha now worries. We misspell her name in text messages to each other all the time for that same reason.
