The Last Two Weeks

Kim made us a rhubarb crisp a couple weeks ago for desert and it was scrumptious

These two got some Pokemon happy meals for dinner after soccer one evening

We had some excitement on our street early one morning with 10 emergency response vehicles. I sent the drone up to see what was happening.

This crab apple tree in front of our house was getting really overgrown so I cut it down to size with Nixon's help

Henry fell running home from school and face planted. If it was closer to Halloween, he could have dressed up as Mike Tyson ;)

On a Friday with no school, Kim took the boys hiking with some friends

He may have missed the ball but he sure tried hard

Left to their own devices the kids do crazy things like gathering up all the pillows they can find and jumping off the top bunk

Henry got to see the eye doctor

We had a really misty morning this week so I flew the drone to see what it looked like from above

The sunrise was beautiful

Henry and Kim had a lunch date at Texas Roadhouse

That same evening we were treated to a stunning sunset so up again went the drone

Soccer yesterday was really cold. Here is Nixon checking out his cleats in between plays

Mason worked really hard for his game too (I didn't see Henry's game but I am told he worked hard and he was happy that his team won)

Mason has read a whole bunch of books and earned a date with Kim to the frozen yogurt place
