Good Deeds, Cross Country, Listing Our House, Apples, First Concert, Pottery, and Final Soccer Games (and more)

Nixon had an assignment to do a good deed for the community so he chose to make some chocolate cookies and deliver them to some of our neighbors

Henry and Mason had a cross-country meet and both did well

Nixon helping to clean our dining room window

We had a pheasant try to get in our house but we didn't let him in

The boys got to check out a new Lego store in CDA

We made an offer on a house (and it was accepted!). We close on December 12th

We also listed our house for sale and we got (and accepted) a full price offer in less than a week. We close on our sale on November 10th, which means we will be renters in our own home for a little over a month

Henry getting a hair cut

I snapped this picture of Henry one morning when he was eating breakfast because I though he looked so cute

The moon looked huge this evening on the way to church activities (the picture doesn't do it justice)

I got to attend Henry's final cross country race

I was a proud papa

When we attended the inspection on the home we are purchasing the home inspector found this note from one of the kids that he put in the range hood

Henry helped Kim process apples to make applesauce

Kim worked a very long day making applesauce. This was likely the last time she will do this again ;)

Soccer games last weekend went really well

Nixon scored 4 goals helping his team win the game (3 were captured on video)

Henry took his stretching very seriously before his game

That evening Kim took Lyza to her very first concert. She got to see Lindsey Sterling.

It was an experience, to say the least. The Lindsey Sterling part was really good. However, there were some other performers that were more heavy metal/screaming that neithter of them appreciated.

Mason got to do a pottery class (it was a birthday gift)

He had a good time

Kim and I were supposed to go hiking on Columbus Day together but I needed to do some work on something that was time sensitive. So I played hookie on Friday and the two of us went hiking. We hiked Mineral Ridge together, including a short additional stretch that we had never hiked before.

It was a good time

That evening Lyza had her first band concert of the year

She was awesome, as expected

The boys all had their last soccer games yesterday for the season

Nixon and Mason both worked very hard and helped their team win the game

Nixon got the ball kicked straight into his balls at one point and he wasn't feeling too good after

He got 4 goals again! (3 fully captured)

Nixon and Adeline were good pals this season

Henry also won his game and had a good soccer season

We took a picture of our family in front of our home on our way to family pictures

We did our annual family pictures yesterday and can't wait to see the final product

Life has been crazy but we are excited for what is to come. Take care
