Happy Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to our daddys!
We love and appreciate each of you and hope you have a great day. Thank you for your endless sacrifices on behalf of your children.
Here is Lyza's ode to her grandfathers (each of you will be receiving your live, in-person, "great big kiss" shortly)
Lyza sure is a fun little girl. She loves to dance
She is very smart! She was playing with some beads, making necklaces and bracelets, and all by herself she made this bracelet. She was not given any help and spelled mom all by herself
She likes to help out around the house, especially watering the flowers or the grass
Over the last few years we have shared many of Lyza's ridiculous sleeping positions. Here is one of her latest. We call it the ostrich.
And who else could look so good riding a tire horse while wearing a princess dress?
Or look so good wearing a mask that she made at the library
She might have a future in puppeteering
This "little" guy is in a very busy stage of life. Nothing in our house is safe from him. Not even the counters are safe. He can grab onto the counter and pull himself up/walk up the cabinet door with his feet. He is a little monkey
I was admitted to the Alaska Bar Association recently
It was a really cool experience because I was able to have a local judge administer my oath. This is Judge Meyer, Kootenai County's newest District Court Judge. Before taking the bench she was a partner at James, Vernon & Weeks, P.A., the firm that I work at. I also consider her a friend and mentor.
Family Home Evening to Home Depot. The kids love the shopping cart with steering wheels
Kim found this cute/silly (depending on who you ask) outfit for Nixon at a garage sale

Our family spent an afternoon hiking and exploring here is Post Falls at the Avista Dam.
We saw some "interesting" wildlife

We played at the park after
I love these things
Cute boy in a yellow tunnel. Enough said.
Kim sent me this picture while I was at work one day. Here she is exerting her superior intellect and problem solving skills over the children's playground equipment. She certainly is the brains of this operation!
A whole bunch of kids and a giant parachute is always a lot of fun
This is one of our favorite games in the evenings: climb on daddy
Lyza loves bubbles so much we got her a bubble gun. Not only is she exercising her second amendment rights, but she is having a blast
On Friday night we went to a party at the annual Car d'Alene kickoff (car show weekend for Father's Day weekend)
There were lots of cool cars to see

Then we went to the park as a family. This particular park has lots of musical instruments that the kids really love ( I may also like them a little :)

They also have some of these spiny chairs that Nixon really likes

We finally found a large ladder yesterday that we could afford (a used wooden ladder) so of course I had to do some things at the highest parts of our house

We also spent some time at the beach yesterday
That's all for now. Again, happy Father's Day. We love our dads. Take care.
