Good-bye February and Hello March (And it finally looks like spring has arrived)

Our kids cannot eat food without getting it all over their faces...at least they are cute

Smiling with his sippy
How is it possibly to sleep with a bike helmet on? He didn't even complain the next morning that his neck hurt
This is what it looks like when Lyza has been happily playing in her room
Village People auditions
Kim took me to Red Robin's for a birthday lunch
We had a family home evening recently about different types of treasures and those that we should be seeking
How much for the baby?
The cute little preschool bunch
Nixon loves when Kim does preschool because he gets to be involved. They learned about planets and how they orbit

Mason has been attacked by laundry
Our cute little astronauts

This is Nixon's first discernible drawing. You can see he is pretty proud of himself!
We love when this guy is happy

Mason is 8 months...how did this happen?

These three can be so cute together when the stars align
Nixon has taken an interest in folding laundry. Lyza was trying to get him to play with her and he would keep telling her that he needed to fold the laundry first. Good boy!
Morning snuggles with Mason
We took the kids to Cabela's to look at all of the taxidermy animals and the big fish tank. That was lots of fun
They also had some little pop guns for the kids to play with
Nixon got a Spiderman birthday card (that plays music) and he has loved it!
Nixon's crazy hair after playing outside with a toque on
and his crazy hair in the bath (he needs a hair cut)
The blog is now caught up from missing a week after Nixon's birthday. Now it's time to fill you in on what has happened this last week...well, not a whole lot
This picture sums up our last week
Each of the kids has been sick on and off (but mostly on) this whole week. Kim was also sick too, but I will spare her the picture ;)
Despite being sick and not doing anything fun, there are a few pictures I would like to share
At church last week Lyza looked so cute and grown up in this outfit. I really love this picture!
Nixon asked me to pull out the tipi this week and it was amazing how much more fun simple activities (like puzzles) are when you are in a tipi!
Not too sick to play with the felt board
If there is anything good about being sick it is the extra snuggles
When Nixon and Kim were feeling better they got to go on a "date" together to the grocery store. Nixon was SO excited. He doesn't get a lot of one-on-one time with his Mom. He was so excited that while at the grocery store he would point to couples together and ask Kim if they were on a date. What a cute boy.
I think Kim has some preschool withdrawal so she did some preschool activities with Nixon and they both had a lot of fun. He takes a different approach to learning than Lyza does, which is a nice change (he is a perfectionist and Lyza likes to master the basic concept and move on)
"I'm stuck, I'm stuck" he screams as his mom first gets the camera to take a picture...
You know it is time for spring when the kids stare out the window wishing they could be outside
 Bath time for this cutie
Well, having everyone sick for a whole week has been miserable, but maybe that means that everyone can be healthy now and enjoy some warmer weather.
I think spring is finally here and I am eager to get the last of the snow melted and spend some time outside.
Take Care
