Lyza's Baptism

Henry and Mason having a blast together in the tub
Henry is getting obsessed with books. It is super cute watching him looking at a book while we change his diaper (it also keeps his hands distracted)
Kim had a cute little photoshoot with Henry playing the piano

A-DOR-A-BLE!
I also really like this one
Selfie: Henry looks dazed
Lyza thought she was sooo funny giving me bunny ears
Henry did some dancing on the table that I caught on video. We got a little concerned though as he got closer and closer to the edge
Lyza also put on a little dance performance
Our snow has been melting fast so the kids need to take every opportunity to get out and play in it while it lasts
Mason looked so cute in primary last week
Kim took Nixon rock climbing on Friday and he was fearless
We had an epic windstorm Friday night and Saturday morning and these are some of the houses nearby. Luckily our house was safe

Lyza had her second basketball game yesterday and the theme of this game was trying to get more comfortable getting in position for a pass, shot, and rebound

When Lyza did muster up the courage to decide she could run past or around someone this is the face she made first
Then she was off to the races
Lyza's defense was spot on (I don't think she realized yet her team had possession yet here)

She foreced tough shots
She also increased her confidence when she had the ball
Lyza was baptized a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints yesterday
It was wonderful being able to baptize here. She is such a spiritual girl and I am often amazed at just how mature she is spiritually. She is a great example of faith, trust, and patience and has spiritual wisdom well beyond her years.
We are glad her Grandma and Grandpa Bullock were able to be there with us.

We also had lots of support from local friends who attended.
The two beauties (living among beasts)
We are so proud of you Lyza!
Without the miracles of modern technology and photo editing we would never have a half-decent picture of our whole family together
After the baptism it was nice to go home and spend some time together

Lyza got to open up a few gifts, including her own set of scriptures
And some gospel/baptism themed chocolate
She was just beaming with joy
Lyza also got this really nice personalized baptism picture from her Aunt Sarah
Hugs with Grandma are the best!
Then it was time for some dessert (the one she wanted for her birthday but that we didn't make because she ended out being sick)
Henry really enjoyed it!
All done
That's all for now
Take care

  1. What a special day for Lyza. She looked lovely. Glad your house didn't get any damage in that crazy storm!
Look forward to your post about your trip to Savannah.
