Spring Break 2023

Kicking off spring break with some D&D

There was a robotics activity at the library and the kids had lots of fun

Morning snuggles with mom

Saturday we all went to Lookout Pass. We bought season passes for next year for the whole family. That means we also get to ski for the rest of this season

It was a beautiful day and the snow was amazing

Nixon and I got to go up to the new mountain and do some bigger runs together

When we got home we were greeted by my parents, Peter, Jane, and Rosie

The kids wasted no time playing on the trampoline with Uncle Peter

Lyza playing piano for Grandpa Keyes

A new train puzzle

Here is some of the group together to prove it was actually happening for Rachel

Dishing up some Sunday dinner

Playing a matching game with Rosie (sorry to catch you with your eyes closed, Kim)

Nixon playing with Rosie and the car

We had a nice time down at the river on Sunday evening

These two were pretty good friends

Grandma read to Lyza and Nixon

The next day the kids got to play at Flying Squirrel

That afternoon we met up at Peter and Jane's hotel for swimming

Grandma and Grandpa had a front row seat

Then it was time for pizza for dinner

The next day there was some playing at the park

Kim and I got to go to the temple with my parents

What a blessed life to be able to play piano while someone brushes your hair!

The kids played at an indoor playground

And then at an outdoor playground (when I say "the kids" that also includes Peter ;)

In fact, Peter was everyone's favorite and there were times where it was hard to share him

Playing some hoops

Family photo time

Checking out the toy store

Then we all met up for dinner at Red Robin

Double chocolate milk for Henry

The next day the kids did some running with statues (the kids won)

Then they got to go to Mobius and have a blast

Rosie practiced her doctor skills

This thing is super cool (check it out in the video below)

That is a big bubble

Playing with stop motion

This water table is my favorite

Shopping was a favorite

Lyza checking out a tarantula

Henry was very skilled with a cash register

Healthy choices

Kids of all ages love heavy machinery

Lyza really enjoyed playing with Rosie

Some of the fun

After that it was time to play outside at the park

Henry got hit pretty hard right above his eye and has a massive bruise right now

Lyza?

Pretty flowers

Henry was not the most cooperative with pictures

The grandkids with Grandma and Grandpa Keyes

Before we said goodbye Rosie got to open up an early birthday gift

Mason got to go to a birthday party Friday night at the skate park

Mason got to use the treadmill during general conference yesterday

Between sessions I got to take Mason on a date to get some fro-yo

For dinner yesterday (April 1st) we ate at the mystery cafe

My entre was ice cream, pasta, apples, and carrots

Lyza got ice cream, cheese, apples, and pasta sauce

This is what the menu looked like

Last night Kim got to play D&D with the kids. I think she is hooked ;)

Take care
