Happy Thanksgiving!

We haven't seen the moose as much this year as in some prior years but we did see this one early in the morning walking past our house

Last Saturday Henry took a quick trip with me to my office and discovered that it is now stocked with candy

Kim and Mason saw Wild Robot together and had a great time. That evening I took Lyza and Nixon to see Wicked and it was SO MUCH FUN (so much fun that I forgot to get a picture of us there)

Over the last few weeks we watched the first four Rocky movies together. The fourth was the favorite.

Listening to these two practice a Christmas duet was a treat

We surprised the kids with a trip to Silver Mountain Resort for Thanksgiving (and the day before), which meant lots of fun in the water park

The kids also enjoyed hanging out in the condo

Nixon loved this tall and steep spiral staircase and the loft

Most of us had pizza for dinner

While someone had mac 'n cheese

Some outdoor hot tubbing after dinner

Then it was time for treats and a Christmas movie (Elf)

And some games before bed

Nixon, Kim, and I got up and hit the gym for our own turkey trot (it was too cold to want to run outside)

Nixon also liked the different weight machines

Then some more games

And a delicious breakfast

We then checked out of our condo and hit the pool

Nixon waited a long time in this line to try the surfing and body boarding

Eventually it was their turn

We had lunch at the pool then swam some more

We were treated to the most beautiful sunset on our drive home

We had a really fun trip together

On Black Friday we maintained our tradition of decorating the house for Christmas

It was too much for us to miss a Thanksgiving dinner so we threw one together on Saturday and it was delicious
