Merry Christmas!

Mason's bruise has been changing colors

Grandma and Grandpa Bullock arrived the Saturday before Christmas and is was a joyous reunion!

That night Kim and I attended an adult Christmas party with friends and had a lot of fun

Our Christmas sacrament service was amazing. Lyza's solo was BEATIFUL! The boys sang with the primary and their number was also beautiful. The talks were great. It was a very nice meeting.

After church we did a couple of pictures before changing out of our Sunday bests

That afternoon we went to Higgins' Point to watch the bald eagles. The smell of dead fish was not the highlight.

The bald eagles are always fun to observe

I got to see this one eating a fish

They start by tearing off the head

Very graceful ;)

You can see this one just caught a fish

There are three eagles on this tree

We had fun playing Janitor together (except for Lyza who always found herself back in the Janitor's seat)

Some interesting soda flavors (bacon and pickle)

On Monday Grandpa constructed some gingerbread (graham cracker) houses

Then that afternoon the kids helped make sugar cookies

Henry gave Grandpa a well-deserved massage

Then it was time to decorate the houses

The final product

We looked at the Christmas lights on the boardwalk that evening

The flames are so much fun

Spending some time in the resort

Henry got to write a letter to Santa

On the morning of Christmas Eve day we found Figgy in Bethlehem

Decorating sugar cookies the next day

We did fondue and appetizers for dinner on Christmas eve

That evening the kids got to open up gifts that they bought each other

It was really fun seeing their reactions to both the gifts they gave and received

Their was intense puzzling going on

We watched a couple of Christmas videos together

The tree all ready to go for the next morning

Mason decided he couldn't sleep that night, which meant that Kim and I both didn't really get to sleep, neither did Henry...

Despite a serious lack of sleep, things turned out well the next day

The kids were excited to see what was in their boots

(kids young and old)

It's about time I got the recognition I deserve!

Then it was time for Santa gifts

Then breakfast

And more gifts

He can finally lock up his treasures and keep them safe

A puzzle board earns a hug ;)

So stylish

Just like when she was a baby

What would I do without Henry?

After all the wrapping paper settled it was time to build

And do mazes

And play piano

Henry passed put by late afternoon because he was so tired

We had a delicious turkey dinner

Lyza put on a special clarinet concert for her Canadian grandparents

And we were treated by a special duet by Kim and Henry

This toy that Nixon got has been lots of fun

On Boxing Day I took the little boys to see the new Sonic movie

And Lyza and Nixon saw the new Moana

Kim stayed home and did some tidying up and finished the puzzle

We had a great Christmas and hope you did too!
