2 years done, 1 more to go

This is going to be our last update from Moscow for a few months. Its been really hot here and we have been busy packing and getting ready to move.

 Just relaxing after church, eating her snack. Lyza didn't enjoy her bumbo as a baby but I pulled it out the other day and she sure likes to sit in it now!

 This past week a group of women from the ward went down to the beach in Clarkston for the day. The weather was beautiful and we basically had the beach to ourselves! Lyza had a blast playing in the water and sand. Can't wait to get to Coeur d'Alene and live close to the water.

 There were lots of us from the ward there.

Lyza and Daniel made me beautiful flowers for Mother's Day! These are the perfect flowers for moving :)

 We move this week then we are off to Seattle for the weekend. It is going to be a busy week!

A Little Taste of Summer

Last week we got to enjoy some nice weather outside which is getting me excited for summer! Things seem to be falling into place for us recently. We have found a place to live in Coeur d'Alene and found someone to sublet our duplex in Moscow for the summer. Daniel just needs to get through his last 3 finals and then we just have to pack and move!

 Lately she has been obsessed with Sesame Street books. She has learned everyone's name. Her favorite is Cookie Monster!

 Last weekend we went to WSU's creamery for date night. Lyza had her first taste of ice cream and it was definitely a hit!

Next post we should hopefully be all settled in beautiful Coeur d'Alene. Moving day is May 15th!

Hungry Hungry Baby

Not much is new this week except the return of Lyza's appetite! She has been eating like it is going out of style. Growth spurt! Also her top two i-teeth have come through and the bottom two are not far behind.

Lyza loves to say "bye-bye," walk into her room, close the door, then come out and look for us (hoping we will scare her)

And of course to battle all of those extra calories from her continuous eating she has been doing a lot of dancing.

In this arrangement Lyza incorporates several modern styles of dance: Happy Feet, The Sumo, The Chicken, Twirly-Twirl, and The Hip-Hop Sway among others.

A Quick Update

The past week has peen pretty good for us. We are enjoying some tome together watching conference this weekend.
We drove up to Coeur d'Alene on Friday and found an apartment for summer! Is is in the Treetop Apartments and is much nicer than where we stayed last summer. It has air conditioning, is right next to a golf course, right next to Ramsey Park, its really close to a community center, and also close to Centennial Trail, which is a paved trail that follows the river.
We can't wait for summer!

March 24, 3013

This will be a short post today, not a lot has happened at our house this week. Daniel and Lyza have both been sick. The other morning, Lyza was not feeling like herself so I let her watch some tv. In case you can't tell by the big grin on her face she really liked sesame street!

 I finished the dress that I have been sewing for Lyza. It should fit her for this summer. Here is the front....

 This balloon from Grandma has been kicking around the house for over a month now! We have blown it back up several times and Lyza just can't get enough of it! Here she is giving it hugs the other night.

The other night while Lyza was sitting in her highchair she out of the blue started singing Taylor Swift's song "Trouble" I managed to get some of it on camera. You know a song is sung too much on the radio when your 15 month starts singing it!
