We have been enjoying a new puzzle board and doing Christmas puzzles
We replaced our couches that we got shortly after we were married
We love this new sectional
And this deep corner seat
We decorated our tree
I replaced a couple of our light switches with smart dimmers
Our stake had a Christmas creche event with over 400 nativities from around the world
It was a nice event
Our Christmas elf is back. He even toilet papered our Christmas tree
Mason's class got to go on an eagle watching cruise and Kim helped out
They saw hundreds of eagles (all the white dots in the trees are the eagles' heads)
What are these two up to?
Henry got to go on a date with Kim to get frozen yogurt and had a blast
He also got in touch with his Canadian roots at Costco
Our boys have too much energy
One evening when Kim was working the kids and I picked up dinner and ate it at my office
Our elf had to set things straight after someone touched him
We had our first (and only so far) snow fall of the year and the kids were very excited to shovel
Henry had a day where he thought helping was the best thing in the world. He swept the floor, mopped the floor, and did lots of cleaning around the house. It was magical!
Lyza had her Christmas concert and did an amazing job
The next day she celebrated her birthday with a group of her friends and they had so much fun
That's a lot of candles!
Kim got to join the girls playing some games so they had even numbered teams
We have a teenager!
Kim had a work Christmas party that night
Last week Lyza practiced a solo she will be singing in a choir piece for our Christmas Sunday service. She has a very beautiful voice.
While Kim was working that day I took Henry in so Kim could take a look at something near his ear
She also took a quick look at his kidneys (everything was fine) and he thought it was so funny
For breakfast on Lyza's birthday she got cinnamon rolls
It was a pretty winter day
That night she chose to go out for frozen yogurt
She is growing up too fast!
She had fun opening gifts
Her brothers didn't have as much fun
Henry loved muffins for breakfast the next morning
Mason got tripped and hit his face on a chair leg a school and got a pretty nasty bump and bruise
He had his recorder concert that night
And we got to see Santa
Cookies after were a hit
Henry couldn't wait to start his new book
These two had Christmas spirit for their last day of school before the break
Mason also won an award
Henry got to make a yule log in class
Nixon and a class mate got to make a ukulele in their challenge class and brought it home to finish it off
Henry chopped the vegetables to help make soup for dinner
On Friday we had our first day of skiing for the season
Henry got all the rust off his skis
Mason enjoying a run
It was a beautiful day
Lyza was happy that she had school that day ;)
