All by myself

I didn't take or create this picture, which means that it was either Kim or Google. What a sweet picture.
For church last week Lyza picked out this hair style. see the heart?
Kim and the kids made bird feeders out of toilet paper rolls, peanut butter, and seeds

Good work guys. Next they should make a daddy feeder with a cookie coated in Nutella with chocolate pieces...yum
 Mason loved this dog

Evel Knievel on his little car
Think he enjoyed his chocolate zucchini muffin?
Nixon burried his beetle in the sand box so it wouldn't get lost...good idea!
 Mason's favorite snack
 Aren't these kids wild?
 Kids love vacuuming
Saturday morning Kim loaded up the van with my most prized possessions and left me

Looks like Lyza is successfully entertaining Mason. Nixon isn't as impressed.
 Play date in Cranbrook
Showing some Canadian pride in Fernie (at Canadian Tire of course)

Mason rebelling and showing American pride window shopping in the gun section
The best way to travel is with a van full of sleepy kids
They made it just in time for story time
They had just enough energy to set up their toys and rocks before they fell asleep
Looks like Mason had a good time at church this morning
Before they left Lyza was concerned about what I was going to do when I was home all by myself. She told Kim that I might do bad things like eat ice cream for breakfast or sleep in her bed. I made this video to ease her concerns
I got the Bullock reunion video all done. Enjoy.
Take care

Enjoying the summer bucket list

Another activity on the summer bucket list was to make a fruit pizza

 Without the glaze

With the glaze. It was delicious!
I love getting messages like this while I am at work
We borrowed Uncle Kevin's hammock and it is getting some use, but we are a little concerned that Lyza was in there with a boy and no chaperone
 That's better
At the latest library activity Lyza got a saw
 Mason got a paint brush
 Nixon got a drill
Yummy lunch with Riley

 I love Lyza's pose
What a cute bunch! Waiting at the DMV for 1 1/2 hours
One night while Kim was gone Lyza called me and told me that she got everything all set up for getting ready for bed. She had tooth paste on the tooth brushes, floss all ready, water in the cups, and fluoride rinse in the little cups. She was so excited she asked if we could send a picture to mom.
There was a cute little quail family living outside of my office window this week
Mason has been getting much more vocal
Kim took the kids to the splash park this week on a super hot day and they loved cooling off
Especially Nixon

This boy was everywhere
Lyza of course loved being in the warm sun
I met the kids for a picnic lunch (another bucket list item)
Kim and the kids made a sand box volcano (you guessed it, the bucket list)

What a cool activity
That was also Mason's first time in the sand box
He had a lot of fun
What a cute little shopper
These two look like they are just so relaxed, but only because they are eating

Every night before we go to bed we check on the kids to make sure they have their blankets on and not about to fall off the bed
On Saturday Lyza got to go to a baptism with Mom and then on a shopping date with her. She loved going to Costco
I think at this moment she was literally the happiest girl in the while world
Nixon and I played some Jenga
His reaction was so funny

Here is Kim teaching Mason what face to make when you are eating
He is a quick learner
I am going to leave you with some lawn mower maintenance as taught by Mason
Take care
