Halloween Fun

We had a lot of fun this Halloween. Lyza is just old enough that she could enjoy it as well.
We carved a pumpkin for Family Home Evening. We chose an Elmo shape because Lyza loves Elmo.

This is Lyza in her Elmo costume. She loved it. She still wants to wear the tutu all the time
Here is a video of us practicing saying "trick 'r treat"
We went to a friends house for a Halloween pizza party. It was a lot of fun, but Lyza was scared of the giant banana. Who can blame her?
Right before we started trick 'r treating. She was really excited
Some of our little Halloween gang

Lyza had a lot of fun trick 'r treating. She wasn't the most aggressive, but everyone at the doors loved how polite and sweet she was.
She loved holding her bucket and playing with the candy. She also did not want us to hold her at all, she had to walk everywhere by herself

Enjoying the fruits of her labors (or labours if you are in Canada)
Chocolate! She kept telling us how yummy it was
This is often how Lyza looks when we lay her down for bed
But then that scene quickly degrades into something more like this
One day Lyza decided that she would run away from the car and her mom and climb a hill and slide down it
Here is Lyza and I playing
Lyza has always loved reading books and recently she has been memorizing parts of them and reciting them as we read to her. This is a library book that we have only had for a few days

That's all for now. Take care.
