Once there was a...

Kim went to a Relief Society service auction where the sisters bring things they have made or services that they are offering and then they bid on the different things/services donated. One of the bids that Kim won was to have any item crocheted. She had a hat made for Lyza and it turned out great!

Lyza loves to get up on our bed and jump around like she is on gymnastic equipment
Typical evening with Lyza. Listening to some Pandora and reading books

Last Saturday we went up to Spokane and to the temple. We sang a lot of I Love to See the Temple on the way up. There were two couples that provided babysitting and we are very appreciative of their service. After the temple we did some shopping (Kim's version of what happened) or we did a lot of shopping (my version of what happened).
Toys r' Us was Lyza's favorite!

I think Lyza agreed with me that there was a lot of shopping going on. So much that she decided to take a nap
 Running around Old Navy
 SO cute! Nice boots!
Last night we got a lot of snow. This morning we had a quick breakfast and then got all bundled up to play in the snow. Lyza is almost 2 but this was the first time she has really played in the snow. I think she had some fun, but she didn't like falling all the time on the slippery snow. Her Canadian genes will eventually kick in and she will get more comfortable on snow and ice.

 Snowmen! Snow-family
Lyza stole one of my branches/arms and used it as a walking stick
