Trip to Boise

I got new dress shoes a couple of weeks ago and Lyza approves of them

 We picked all of our tomatoes before we left

 We drove to Boise on Wednesday. Here we are at a stop at a park in Oregon

 The kids and I got some sleep in while mamma was driving

 Our first night in Bosie we took Kim's mom out for a birthday dinner at Texas Roadhouse

We embarrassed her by having the staff sing to her

 The kids loved playing with grandma and grandpa

 Nixon enjoyed exploring new places

 Thursday morning I went to a new attorney CLE/training

While I was there everyone else got to explore Boise

 After my training we all met up and had a picnic lunch on the Capitol building grounds

 Then we explored the Capitol building

 It was beautiful inside. This is a view of the ceiling of the domed tower portion

 He was a natural with the gavel

 After the Capitol building I went back to the Boise Center to prepare for the admissions ceremony

 Everyone else got to do some more exploring

 Then Thursday afternoon we attended the "swearing in" admissions ceremony

 Officially a lawyer!

 There were some nice messages and talks afterward. Lyza of course loves playing with Grandma

 It was a little too much for Nixon and put him to sleep. Look at those cute suspenders and bow tie

 After the ceremony Kim and I went out for dinner with some friends

On Friday we went to the Bosie zoo and had a blast

 We went on a fun conservation boat ride

 We were all happy to get back home last night. Except Nixon when he got stuck under a chair :)

 We had a great trip and are glad to be home now. Take care
