One more week to the new house

We put this picture on Facebook this week but I wanted to share it again because Lyza is so cute. She gets really excited when she has her Elsa hair, or Princess Anna hair, or whatever theme her hair is
This guy was excited to get a card and present in the mail from his auntie Hannah. Thanks Hannah!
On Monday Dairy Queen had free ice cream cones. Of course we made a family home evening out of it
Lyza had an activity at the library on St. Patrick's day. The theme was frogs (because they are green). She loved wearing this hat that she made

She even had some fun frog dancing to show off
Yesterday morning Kim had both kids in bed with her and for a couple of minutes they were both happy and cuddly. It didn't last very long, but she enjoyed it
Nixon is quite adventurous at the park
Lyza has been keeping her hands in the air while going down the slide, as if she is on a roller coaster. Pretty wild ride!

Last night we went out for a date night! That doesn't happen too often. The restaurant had a pond/river running through it with lots of fish and turtles swimming around. It was nice to have a quiet and relaxing meal together. My fortune cookie had an inappropriate fortune in it for someone on a date with his wife. "You will make many changes before settling down happily."  Not true. I am already happy. Maybe it is just speaking about our move this coming week?
Nixon is getting the hang of using a hammer
He is not quite so patient when it comes to puzzles
I think Lyza might grow up to be a game show host
She is pretty good at teaching her brother how to sneeze. Too bad she gets so rough at the end
Here is some behind-the-scenes footage of me working on the blog today. Not the most glamorous working conditions...
We took the kids to a community Easter egg hunt today. Nixon liked playing peek-a-boo with his bucket

Lyza collected eggs like a champ
Nixon picked up the first one he saw then just walked around with it and observed the madness

They both had their own kind of fun
Can never have enough fun with Play-Doh mustaches
Later
