This is going to be a REALLY long post...we have been having a lot of fun.
This guy is growing up so fast. He is sitting in a high chair!

We had our ward Christmas party

There was a five piece string ensemble that played Christmas songs while we ate dinner
The kids, especially Nixon, loved the music. Here is a little clip of him dancing during dinner
He has been obsessed with flash lights and headlamps lately. He will even wear a headlamp to sleep.
Here are my gorgeous kids before church a couple of weeks ago
Lyza had some friends come over and craft and they all had a blast

He has discovered his toes and he is happy about that
Lyza and Remi made these Christmas ornaments together

Kim did a little Christmas photo shoot with Mason for his first Christmas and she got some really cute pictures
Before our trip to Canada we let the kids open some of their presents so we didn't have to cram as much into the van

Kim is amazing and always tackles the tedious task of getting everything packed for our road trips

This guy plays so hard that we always find him in the funniest sleeping positions
The drive up to Welling was really miserable. There was lots of fresh snow all over the road and it was slick. You can almost see how white Kim's knuckles are in this picture
This was one of the rare and fleeting moments that all of the kids were sleeping at the same time. I think it lasted about as long as the shutter in the camera.
We had to make some stops to get some wiggles (and smiles) out

There is something so magical about Christmas morning as a kid
I got some good snuggles before Nixon woke up enough to look at his boot

We got some pictures before church (yes we made the kids wait until after church to open presents, but they didn't have any problem with that)

One of my favorite parts of the gifts was watching the kids help their grandparents with the gifts we gave them

With the help of these dwarfs we expanded the snow cave that we made a few days earlier

Peter and Jane's ceremony was really nice. It was awesome to be there with Kim and huge thanks to those that helped watch our kids so we could attend together
After the temple we hung out in grandma and grandpa Keyes' hotel room

Lyza was feeling sick. Grandma Keyes read her a book about temples that she got for Christmas

The wedding reception was lots of fun. It was fun to visit with family, although there wasn't enough time to get totally caught up with everyone

The drive home was LONG, LOUD, and the roads were LOUSY. At least we got to drive with this super model hero
Despite the horrible driving, and Lyza getting super sick, it was nice to see and spend time with family.
