Lyza is 7!

Google made us this video called "Holiday Tradition"
Mason was more than happy to finish off the crumbs from this plate of cookies
Not sure what they are doing here but I love that they are holding hands
Nixon had to carry this huge snowball all the way to the bus and back
We took the kids out to the resort to look at the Christmas lights for family home evening last week

And of course we had to check out the fish
Mason and I had a short photo shoot

That is one tall snowman
Mason loved this activity until he was told he had to let the paint dry
Nixon sent us mail from preschool

Kim took Lyza out for a dinner date because she was been doing so well in school. They had a wonderful time together
Focus
Proud of their work
Reading a Christmas story before bed
Henry giving me a serious face
He can also be smiley
Snuggles with Mason
The boys hard at work shoveling snow
Mason loves playing with these water beads
Santa was at the elementary school
Nixon brought him a present because he was worried that Santa never gets presents

They had this cut out at the school
Lyza lost another tooth and the Tooth Fairy did her job
I had a work Christmas party Friday night. Henry was tired and didn't like all the noise so Kim and I spent lots of time in the lobby

On Saturday we planned to spend lots of time together celebrating Lyza's birthday. Henry got some time in the carrier with his mom
We saw the huge Christmas tree in downtown Spokane
Took the kids on some escalator rides ;)
Went through a kid-sized door
And rode the elevator to Mobius
We were greeted by a t-rex
The kids had so much fun

Lyza played really hard and we actually didn't see her much because she was so busy and independent

I helped the boys make these hats

Lyza sighting
Henry was very well behaved

Mason found some kitchen stuff and wheel barrows and was super busy with them

After three solid hours of playing we went out to eat

Lyza liked her strawberry lemonade diluted
She barely made a dent in those huge nachos
The big kids made these advent crafts (the nose moves and tracks the date)

Sunday morning for Lyza's actual birthday we had chocolate chips with fruit and whipped cream (vanilla and chocolate)
Santa baby
Lyza loves this peacock she got for her birthday
She enjoyed opening some presents

She was so cute

Then we had to get ready for church and I tried to get some pictures of the kids (while holding Henry so excuse the less than sharp pictures)

Lyza got spoiled with an amazing animal/nature birthday cake
We got to celebrate her birthday with a few other families and had lots of fun
I can't believe Lyza is 7! We love her so much and are so thankful she is part of our family.
Take care
