Catching up a little: Recovering from our trip, Henry is 10 months, and Independence Day

We took the kids to falls park for one more time to catch tadpoles (no luck)
Mason got to feed the ducks
Mason let out some primal noises and became one with nature
I got to try out some long exposure photography with my ND filter (it gives the water a smoother/blurred look)

Nixon pushed Henry around in this seat as if he was royalty
Mason drinking straight out of the garden hose
Henry is pulling himself up and standing a lot
 Isn't that the cutest pose?
Henry is 10 months old! Wow!

Mason got into the cupcakes Kim made for his birthday cake (check out the last post for the fun we had for Mason's birthday)
Our ward had a "patriotic celebration" (read: 4th of July activity) on Mason's birthday. He was happy to have an extra party that day
 There was breakfast
An obstacle course and bouncy house
 A CUTE baby
 Face painting

 Working replica canons
Lyza got to play duck, duck, goose
 Mason was very patriotic
He looks better in my sunglasses than I do
 Swinging with his little bro
Bath time for the cute baby
Lyza looked so cute for church and was so excited about her stick-on earrings that we did a little photo shoot

I am not sure what was happening here (perhaps Nixon just found out that he was getting a popsicle or something)
Beautiful evening down at the park
Kim took the kids to the beach the next day and Henry just looks so adorable
Mason fell in love with his train set all over again
Nixon made a goal to learn how to do monkey bars this summer and got to check that off his list
One of Lyza's goals for the summer is to learn how to bake cookies

Henry made a goal to compose a song and is doing very well ;)
Grandma and Grandpa stopped in for a night on their way out to the west coast before the family reunion
Nixon and Grandpa shot some hoops together

We all went down to the beach together

Mason got his birthday gift from Grandma and Grandpa

 Night time stories

Henry is learning to waive bye-bye
We had a yummy breakfast on the 4th
 And some snuggling
 More playing with the train
Henry got some rides in this box
Some friends had a 4th of July party that we went to. Nixon enjoyed playing corn hole
There was home made ice cream

There was even a bouncy house there
We had to leave early to get ready for our early drive to Seattle the next day so we didn't get to watch fireworks. I saw some in the distance from our house though
Here is one last video of Henry being exceptionally cute
Next post should be our trip to the Seattle zoo and maybe some family reunion on Vancouver Island
Take care

  1. Henry's 10 month pictures are very cute! Alison got a kick out of the photo of Henry in a box: "A baby in a box!"
