Quarantine: Week 5

On Easter morning the kids woke up to a little surpise

 Do you think he was excited about this?

 There were even those cracker things you pull apart (I don't know what they are called)

 Our neighbors brought us a card and some cookies

 The kids got to use their silly string

 Lyza wanted to decorate the trees

 They also got to have an egg hunt

 The next day the kids got to try out their bubble guns

Henry always want s to be outside no matter whose shoes he has to wear

 The kids made an epic hopscotch game

 Henry has grown out of his last pair of shoes and now he gets to wear these awesome boots

 He helped Kim do some raking in the front yard

 While Nixon climbed in the tree

 We might be running out of normal things to do around here

Eating outside is always this boy's favorite 

 A car wash in CDA had a day with free washes so we took both vehicles there to get a wash

Henry was not happy about it

Lyza and I made an ice light as a science experiment

 Nixon reading to Henry is a pretty cute sight

We had two different meals this week where there was lime juice on the table. Mason always wants to drink it and the results are always the same. We also let Henry try some. Enjoy

 On Friday the elementary school teachers and staff had a parade where they drove through all of the neighborhoods and the kids could see them

 The kids had so much fun 

 This is Nixon's kindergarten teacher (we didn't get a picture of Lyza's teacher)

I found out that our office is going to continue to work from home until the end of May. So I raided my office and grabbed another monitor, stand, and keyboard so I can be more productive working from home

 We grilled and ate outside Fiday evening and it was really awesome

 We also went for a walk that evening and saw lots of pretty trees in bloom

 I am not sure if this picture shouldl have a story so you just need to make up your own

 On Saturdays the kids need to clean their rooms before they get screen time. Friday night Lyza decided she was going to clean her room to make it easier for Saturday. She was so proud of herself!

 Last night Nixon and Mason played this game where Mason would swing this huge thing at Nixon over and over

 After that they played a game where Nixon would walk on Mason's stomach...I made them use a pillow too

 I left an apple on the table and Henry climbed up and started chomping on it. Throughout the night he ate the whole thing (including some of the core)

 Nixon and Mason had fun playing Lego with mom

 Lyxa got a late night piano lesson

 Here is the weekly update on my quarantine beard

  I had to trim it this week becaue the chin portion grows so much faster than the rest

 Mason helped me with the actions for The Wise Man and the Foolish Man for chuch today (notice the amazing artist we have been listing to today)

Kim dusted off her Primary President skills and did a great job keeping these kids entertained with a lesson

 These bean plants are growing wonderfully
