Nixon has been practicing his jump shot
Kim had the kids draw uplifiting messages on the sidewalk (including some stained glass)
We continued our annual tradition and made resurrection rolls for family home evening this week
Henry kept busy posing for the camera
I have gone from coworkers bothering me during the day to a cute three year old sharing the crafts he made with me
Henry has really enjoyed this slide this week
Monday night we went for a quick impromptu hike down by the river
The water is really low still. I thought it was really cool to see the exposed roots of this tree on the shore
This area would normally be covered in water
The sunset was really pretty
Mason was proud of this accomplishment
Henry got his leg stuck on this fence
On the way home we checked out the full moon
The sunset in this area (another spot along the river) was also pretty
Now that spring break is over Lyza got to video conference with her entire class. She really enjoyed seeing everyone and has really missed them
They found daffodils on their walk
The kids are now almost permanent fixtures in the back yard. They have the trampoline, hammock, bouncy house, play structure, and sandbox to keep them busy
Nixon helped make these popsicles
Everyone helped eat them
Kim set up an obstable course one day this week. Nixon was a champ, Mason tried his best, and Lyza just wanted to read in her room
I got to work through it all
Friday evening after we finished our fast we headed out for a hike near Hayden Lake
We all enjoyed getting out in the fresh air
This boy LOVED hiking! He RAN hard for the first half mile.
He would hold our hands occasionally (but not very often or for very long)
Having a snack break
They are so cute together
Henry had developed some pretty awesome poses for picture time
My lover and I (I wore the child carrier backpack without a child in it ;)
We got a little overlook of the lake through the trees
Henry hiked the entire time. He also had the cuttest little hike/dance thing going on
Lyza spotted this pretty yellow flower someone left on the top of this big stump
Mason was fascinated by the many sticks he found along the way
Bearded hiker selfie
Nixon thought he was so sneaky trying to blend into this tree
He got me!
Masosn got tired and decided he needed a piggy back nap
This tree was being devoured by ants
Not sure about this one
Lyza looking a little too serious (I think she was tired at the end of the hike)
It was really fun hiking with Henry. We had no idea he would do the whole hike on his own. 19 months and 1.7 miles. He has a bright future ahead!
Henry has been enjoying eating outside
Nixon got a spiffy (quarantine) haircut
So did Henry :)
We all started watchin Dolittle last night
Here is Nixon with his new haircut
Cool boy
Mason got a haircut two weeks ago and this morning was the first time we combed/styled his hair :)
When we tried to get a picture of Mason and Henry together Henry was almost instantly in a choke hold
Fresh new haircut for Henry
Cute boys
And we can't forget Lyza!
Kim's grandma turned 92 today so we got some pictures of the kids together to send to her
We even had them put a candle in a pie and sing happy birthday to her
Henry was excited to blow out the candle
I can't wait to share some of our Easter celebration with you but that will have to wait until next week
Take care
Enjoying the posts. The kiddos looked so nice all dressed up on Easter! :)
