Spring Break '14 (my last ever?)

I had spring break this last week so we have just been chillin'

 On Tuesday we went down to Clarkston to go to dinner with one of Kim's former co-workers

We decided that we would also go swimming and do some shopping. We took Lyza to the pool and she had a blast, up until another kid puked in the pool and everyone had to leave : (

At least she had about 20 minutes of fun before someone "rained" on her parade

It was a beautiful day, so when we had to leave the pool we decided to go kill some time at the park before our dinner appointment 

 After the park we went to Fazarri's for pizza and it was amazing!

After dinner we made a trip to Costco to stock up on essentials (sorry, no picture. you all know what Costco looks like)

This is the picture that the nurses at the Hospital took of Nixon just after he was born to get publish on the hospital's birth center announcement website

 If there is one thing that Nixon loves it is milk. If there is another thing that Nixon loves it is snuggling (as long as he has had milk recently)

 Lyza is starting to get the hang of what it means to be a good big sister (excuse her wild hair)

 We finally joined the modern age and watched Frozen together this week. What a great show!

 Nixon had a checkup on Wednesday and he weighed 8 lbs 11 ounces. What a little chunk! He eats like a champion. He even drank a bottle for the first time last night. Now he and Lyza have both successfully used a bottle once! 

 Yesterday we went to a community Emergency Preparedness Fair hosted by the church. Lyza's favorite attraction was the fire truck!

 She climbed in and out of that thing about 15 times and made sure to sit in every seat possible. It was devastating when we had to leave

 Maybe we are dealing with a future firefighter?

We got an application all done this week to get Nixon's proof of Canadian citizenship and as part of that application you have to submit passport-like photos. These little 2x2 pictures make him look much more grown up than he really is

We have had lots of fun spending good quality time with each other and I am sad that I have to go back to school this next week. Only 51 days until I am officially done law school!
