Mason is One!

We went to the beach together one evening and Kim and Mason had fun taking selfies

 Nixon and I got some good snuggle time together in the water

 He looks like he is ready to be done

 Mason has the perfect arms for a tank top

 Lyza made this bracelet at a library activity

These two work pretty hard together at the beach 

 Nixon went with Kim to the dentist and got this kazoo

 Mason is 1!

We like to do birthday interviews with the kids, but since Mason isn't talking yet, this is the best we could come up with ;)

He sure loved his birthday pancake breakfast!

 Strutting around the house like he owns the place. He likes to take spoons with him

 Kim did a little outdoor photo shoot 

 

 After work we set up a cake smash 

 First we sang him Happy Birthday

He of course wanted to touch the candle

 Then we let him eat cake. He was so cute saying "mmmmm"

The kids have been enjoying the swimming pool, especially when they also get to play with water baloons

 Mason had is 12 month photo shoot. Next time I should have a collage with each of the 12 months

 Playing croquet with a spoon in his mouth...

Nixon has been reading this book every night after we put him to bed. He always comes out of his room to ask how to say his name. This is how he says it
