Simple Week

Last week we attended stake conference at home. I kept busy with a light bright

Mason really loves creating. Look at this wonderful monster he made

This is Henry "talking" to Grandma Keyes on the phone.

I am glad I have a wonderful wife who will help out with family home evening when I don't feel like it

Lyza got a haircut this week. Here is the before

And the after

First thing in the morning you can often find Nixon reading by the fireplace

Like all the men in his family, Henry takes his breakfast seriously

At-home learning is a bad phrase around here most of the time. Our school district just approved a new pilot plan that will have the kids in class Monday through Thursday and only learning at home on Fridays. This begins tomorrow and we are excited and hope it sticks.

It is wonderful when they play nicely together

Nice beard Nixon

Mason rolling snow in the backyard

Mason also had a good afternoon cooking in the toy room

Lyza got a huge chocolate bar at school for being so awesome. She loves Hershey's bars and just discovered how much she loves special dark

We have also been doing some glasses shopping for Lyza. We think we know what frames she will get and we will hopefully get them ordered this week

Yesterday morning we really sunny and bright and most of the snow was gone (we got a dump of snow Friday morning). After Kim's run I decided to go for a walk down to the river with my wide angle lens.

The reflections were really beautiful

Last night we had a family movie night watching Ratatouille

There were lots of good cuddles

Take care

  1. Lyza, I like your haircut. Looks very nice.
Nixon, reading by the fireplace is a great thing to do.
Mason, have fun playing in the snow.
Henry, you’re growing up too fast.
